10 images: The celebrities of the 2017 Vios Cup

It might seem odd that we look forward to watching small sedans run rings around Clark International Speedway, but the Vios Cup just continues to deliver. Now in its fourth season, Toyota Motor Philippines' motorsports showcase offers fun and excitement for racing veterans and newcomers alike. Part of the event's novelty is the roster of celebrities that compete on the track each year.

The first leg of the 2017 season saw the return of Vios Cup stalwarts like Fabio Ide, and Jasmine Curtis-Smith. Alongside them were some fresh faces; Aubrey Miles, Gretchen Ho, Ella Cruz, and Dominic Roque all joined the event for the very first time. The newcomers did pretty well in their races, too. Gretchen Ho netted the award for best overall best female celebrity driver, while Dominic Roque was crowned the Total Excellium male high-performance racer.

Another famous name in attendance was Keiichi Tsuchiya, aka the Drift King. The man is nothing short of royalty to gearheads, and he caused as big a stir as all the other celebs. He also took to the track himself, drifting a Toyota 86 around the corners for some very lucky passengers. We've driven that very same car ourselves, but we didn't look anywhere near as cool as his majesty.
