Baguio's not what it used to be. The past two decades haven't exactly been kind to the Philippine summer capital: less trees, more traffic and the painful sight of urbanization encroaching on one of the most worthwhile road-trip destinations of our childhoods.
Still, we weren't going to let anything keep us from heading over there for an overnight stay. Despite all the change, there's still plenty to love about the place: great food, cold weather and an epic drive up Kennon Road. Plus, we had a trio of Mitsubishi Montero Sports for the trip, and the travel time headed up north has been cut drastically.
