Last month, we got a quick taste of the new season of Drive to Survive, and now—just over a week out from the season premiere on Netflix—we’ve been served with the main course that is the full trailer. Or is this technically the starter? Anyway, enough with the food analogies.
New episodes of the fly-on-the-wall documentary will be landing on Friday 24, and the big news is that world champion Max Verstappen features once again after previously boycotting the show over some of its hyped-up storylines.
You can watch the trailer in full here, but everything you’d expect from Drive to Survive is present and correct. Intense on-track action? Check. Shocking crashes? Check. Gunther Steiner swearing like there’s no tomorrow? Of course.

We also get a glimpse of the Ferrari drivers expressing confidence ahead of the 2022 season (we know how that ended), Lewis Hamilton talking about mounting a comeback (again, we know how that ended), and Christian Horner’s well-honed fighting talk (that, er, actually turned alright for him didn’t it?).
The timing of the new series coincides with pre-season testing, and there’ll be just enough time to binge through the glut of new episodes ahead of the 2023 season commencing in Bahrain on 5 March.
