Exterior of the GWM Haval H7 2026:

The Haval H7 adopts the rugged styling from the bigger H9, donning a similar boxy shape and chunky fascia with a wide metallic bumper. It is also dressed with garnishes around the side skirts and fenders to give it even more heft, while the roof rails and spare tire cap off its overall look.
All variants measure 4,800mm long, 1,950mm wide, and 1,843mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,738mm. The SUV comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, but those who opt for the plug-in hybrid 4WD variant will get 19-inch rollers.
Interior of the GWM Haval H7 2026:

Inside, the five-seater SUV makes use of soft-touch materials around the cabin. A panoramic sunroof covers all passengers, while the center console houses a cooling compartment to keep drinks chilled. The second row also features decent legroom and dedicated A/C vents.
Up front, a 15.6-inch display dominates the dashboard. Audio is then distributed through an eight-speaker sound system, but the top-of-the-line variant gets a “premium multi-speaker” setup.
It is unclear just how much cargo can be accommodated on the Haval H7. However, the second row folds at an almost-flat angle to expand the trunk area even further.
Powertrain specs of the GWM Haval H7 2026:

Starting with the entry-level Haval H7 HEV 2WD, this variant gets a full hybrid system built around a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and a single electric motor powered by a 1.53kWh battery. It is rated for about 241hp and 540Nm of torque, with power managed by a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT).
Next, the mid-spec Haval H7 PHEV 2WD gets a similar 1.5-liter turbocharged mill and a single electric motor; however, its battery has been bumped up to 19.09kWh to support its plug-in hybrid system. That gives it all-electric driving of 105km, with 318hp and 540Nm of torque on tap. And like the previous variant, this version has also been equipped with a DHT.
Finally, the Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV 4WD gets dual motors to go along with its 1.5-liter turbo and 19.09kWh battery. Its fully electric range has dropped to 91km, but power has significantly increased with its 359hp and 760Nm of torque. To help manage this extra power, GWM has supplied its top-of-the-line H7 with a three-speed DHT.
Extra features of the GWM Haval H7 2026:

All variants come standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 50W charging pad below. There is also a 540-degree camera system across the board, as well as a heads-up display for the driver.
However, only the Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV AWD gets the full suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, with adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and collision warnings on board.
