Yesterday, Suzuki gave us our first real look at the all-new Swift subcompact hatch. With a sleeker form courtesy of a drastically redone front fascia and sleeker headlights, as well as a new-look rear, initial images were enough to get us excited for the car's overseas unveiling at next year's Geneva Motor Show.
Upon second look though, we noticed several of the all-new Swift's design elements closely resembled those found in other popular car models. This isn't taking away from the vehicle's killer looks by any means—it isn't uncommon for carmakers to turn to other vehicles for design inspiration, after all. But still, they are similarities worth noting.
We jotted down said elements and produced a short, simple infographic to shed some light on what other car designs may have played a part in the Swift's new look. Some are striking, such as the headlamps and rear end. Others may simply be following a trend in automotive design or functionality. Check out the image above and judge for yourselves.
