I attend test-drive events all around the world, but there is indeed something special about getting to know a vehicle on the roads that we call home. How a vehicle behaves on our less-than-perfect highways gives us a good handle of how it will perform in the real world. The 'Go Anywhere Nissan Terra Bicol Drive' event took things up a notch, though. We got to explore some challenging off-road trails at the base of Mayon Volcano with the Terra after a scenic drive that showcased the beauty of the Bicol region.
Now when the roads are tight and twisty, and we just happen to be traveling during school dismissal,
Under the sculpted hood is a 2.5-liter common-rail turbodiesel engine, that can be paired with either 7-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission. Power is 180hp at 3,600rpm, while twist is an impressive 450Nm at 2,000rpm.
Check out our quick video of the event, and do stay tuned for the rest of our coverage of this epic road trip that had Mount Mayon as the backdrop.
