Nissan has been getting creative with its social media content lately. The Japanese manufacturer posted two videos showing a Grand Theft Auto–style POV of a person walking into a dealership and testing out cars.
The two ‘missions’ are titled ‘Experience the Nissan Leaf’ and ‘Conquer the rough terrain’ with the Nissan X-Trail. Apart from the video game–style movement and dialogue boxes, the reels also mention the characteristics of the two cars, with the Leaf being ‘fast and responsive while providing a quiet and stable ride,’ and the X-Trail being ‘built for any adventure.’

There’s even a secret code to unlock the X-Trail. Now, if only we could make cars appear in real life by doing a couple of awkward lunges and jumps in the parking lot—it’s not reality, but there’s no harm in trying. These reels are a fun way for Nissan to showcase their cars while being in touch with auto-related online trends.
