Once upon a time, Nissan Philippines sold the Silvia here in our market—the S14 Silvia, to be exact. A few examples made their way out of dealerships into the homes of owners who, back then, probably had no idea how big of a deal their cars would eventually become.
Of the few that were officially sold here, there’s one that’s just made its way to the Internet via Facebook: this white 200SX you see here in these photos. How did we find it? It‘s for sale and was posted on Facebook. We’re still on a high from the recently concluded Nissan Festival, so best believe we sent the OP a PM.

According to Nicoh Roque, the guy who posted this, this unit is from a friend of his. It’s a local-release 1997 Nissan 200SX. It currently has more than 55,000km on the odo, and most of its mechanical bits are stock. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, or what many may know as the SR20DET, under the hood was rated for around 201-247hp and 266-280Nm of torque at the time of launch. We don’t know how much power this specific powertrain makes, though it supposedly was kept stock, so expect actual output to be around those figures. It also comes with a five-speed manual gearbox.

The interior is also mostly stock, though the seats here were taken from the S15 Silvia. Other modifications indicated in the post include a Link MonsoonX ECU, a Greddy water temperature gauge, Cusco engine and front strut bars and battery tie bar, Autobahn88 front-mount intercooler, Megan coilovers, and an aftermarrket chambered muffler.
The original Deep Fuchsia finish has been repainted to white, and the vehicle is registered until 2026. The asking price, which is probably the second reason you clicked this article, is P1.75 million. For inquiries, you can just message Nicoh Roque on Facebook.
