If you’re looking to bask in Philippine colonial history while still enjoying the perks of traveling away from the metro (read: good food and one-of-a-kind experience), your best bet would be Vigan City in Ilocos Sur. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has maintained its 16th-century charm. And in case you didn’t know, one of the most convenient ways to get to this part of northern Luzon is through Partas’s luxury bus service.
This commuter bus has 26 recliner seats with only three seats in a row, ensuring spacious legroom and a less crowded ride.
