On November 30, the automotive community lost a beloved member when The Fast & The Furious star Paul Walker died in a car crash. Since then, we have been receiving photos of Filipino fans who pay their tribute by displaying creative stickers on their vehicles, usually featuring a famous line mouthed off by the actor in the popular F&F series.
There have been other celebrity deaths in the past involving a car accident, but this is probably the first time that Filipinos are openly showing the dearly departed a lot of love. Perhaps it\'s because these car owners grew up watching The Fast & The Furious. Perhaps it\'s because they regarded Walker as a legit car fan (as opposed to some actor merely paid to play a role). Or perhaps it\'s because Walker was said to have attended a charity event organized to benefit the Yolanda victims, shortly before the accident.
Whatever their reasons are, it\'s clear these Filipino car owners miss Paul Walker. As do we, guys. As do we.
