In 2018, Dwayne Johnson gifted his cousin and long-time stunt double Tanoai Reed a pickup truck for being around throughout his entire career. Now, he’s gifted his sister-in-law with a luxury SUV for being a genuinely nice person. Look:
“This Christmas surprise felt good,” Johnson wrote on his official Instagram account. “Merry Christmas to my sister in law, @aja_elan for simply being the most loving, supportive and coolest human we could ever ask for from day one. Merry Christmas! We’re grateful and we love you sis.”
That SUV is a 2020 Cadillac Escalade. At the very least, it starts with a price tag of $75,195 (P3.8 million)—and there’s no telling if he’s driven that price up with upgrades or opted to purchase a higher-end variant.
Alright, alright, it’s probably chump change when you take into account how much the dude’s made off the Fast and Furious franchise since he hijacked it from Vin Diesel joined the crew. But remember, it’s the thought that counts. Merry Christmas, everyone!
