Turbocharged boxer engine, 237hp, 350Nm, AWD and razor-sharp handling—after over a week with this Japanese SUV, we can definitely say that the Subaru Forester XT is as fun as its specs promise, and is as versatile as its edgy exterior would suggest.

What's more, the vehicle offers practical space and is right up there with the best of the rest in terms of features. You get X-Mode, which gives the Forester a performance boost on less-than-ideal surfaces, cruise control, several displays, an easy-to-use infotainment system, paddle shifters and seats that fold down in a jiffy. Come to think of it, nine days was barely enough time to make use of all of them.

To give you guys a better idea of what the Forester brings to the table, check out the short video we produced above. Not on a budget? Then you might want to consider placing this crossover on your shortlist.
