Just about anything can be turned into a campervan these days. It doesn’t matter if it’s big or small, the only limitation here is one’s imagination and/or budget. We’ve seen kei vans, ambulances, and more being turned into rolling sleeping quarters.

We’ve featured Vantech before with its Nissan Urvan-based mobile home called the Astrare CC1. This time around, we’re turning our attention to something much smaller.

Vantech calls it the Lunetta, and no, the name isn’t inspired by the park. Based on the Suzuki Every kei van, it features amenities that can might make you call it a mini mobile hotel.

The Lunetta retains the Every’s four-seater capacity, but the extensive interior modifications transforms it into a cozy camper. For starters, the folding rear seats and cargo floor have been leveled to provide a sleeping mat for two. Its light interior color also adds the feeling of roominess. The kei van’s tall roof helps in that aspect, too.

Also included in the package is a mini sink that can double as a counter. For extra storage, there’s a ceiling mounted shelf. A swing-out table is also provided to form a mini work station. If you’re worried about charging devices, it has a 100v plug to complement the van’s 12v socket. Should you want on-board entertainment, Vantech can also fit in a 19-inch TV at the back.

Okay, so it’s not as grand as some of the camper vans and overlanders we’ve covered before, but the Lunetta is an amusing conversion nonetheless. As for prices, it ranges from ¥3,471,000 to ¥3,831,000, depending on the Suzuki Every variant chosen. At current conversion rates, that means we’re looking at around P1,300,000 to P1,430,000.
