This year's Monster Jam Manila was big, loud and absolutely epic--pretty much everything we had expected of the event. For a brief moment on Saturday, though, tension filled Mall of Asia Arena.
The Hot Wheels truck had flipped over attempting to jump the central mound, and its roof appeared to have collapsed from the sheer weight of the vehicle. Fortunately, the driver exited the wreck unharmed, to the relieved cheers of everyone inside the arena. A backhoe was called in to tow away the truck, and everything was back in order. In fact, the Hot Wheels machine returned to the dirt not too long after the incident. It was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the weekend.
