When Marian Rivera is driven to her wedding with Dingdong Dantes tomorrow (December 30) at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Cubao, Quezon City, it won't be in a modern luxury limousine or a horse-drawn carriage. Instead, she'll be in the back seat of a 1976 Mercedes-Benz, presumably of the W115 variety.
According to Dantes's post on Instagram, the car is the very same one he learned to drive in. Previously owned by his tita Luisa Henson, the midsize luxury sedan was passed on to three other owners before the actor acquired it "a couple of years ago for sentimental reasons." Dantes then meticulously restored the car for it to "serve its new purpose," which is to deliver his bride to their wedding venue.
Congratulations to the couple!
