News that the popular secondhand bookstore Booksale was finally open again, and selling online via Facebook, months after operations shut down due to the quarantine had everyone excited. Well, it now looks like the popular bookstore has stepped up and given the people what they want. You can scour their virtual bookshelves a lot easier because Booksale is now on Shopee.
Yup, that means buying from Booksale can now be done by simply clicking ‘Add to Cart.’ It won’t be the same as browsing through the endless titles in their brick-and-mortar shops but hey, it’s better than nothing at all. The popular bookstore has around 130 titles on their Shopee store as of this writing. And thankfully, their prices are still affordable—just take note of the varying delivery fees.
Their Facebook page remains active. A total of 15 outlets in different locations have featured their titles through posts online, and you can contact their store personnel directly if you see something you want to get. Booksale’s virtual shelves on Shopee are stocked by their main warehouse, which has also put some titles on their Facebook page.
Booksale has been around for more than 30 years and currently has 91 branches nationwide. Fingers crossed we get to visit one of their shops soon enough.
