Honda and Citizen are celebrating retro-futurism with a special ‘2026 Prelude’ Edition of the Ana-Digi Temp wristwatch. The collab coincides with both Honda’s hybrid revival of the Prelude, as well as Citizen’s reintroduction of the Ana-Digi Temp model back in 2020.
Besides the Honda logo up top and wordmark by the bottom edge, the branding for the Prelude edition is subtle and understated. The dual analog dials, a defining characteristic of the Ana-Digi Temp, are finished in clean black and white. The legending on these dials were printed specifically to mimic dashboard gauges.

The stainless steel colorway features a plain white watch face with blue accents, reminiscent of the hybrid Prelude’s signature Winter Frost Pearl with Boost Blue brake calipers. For those that like keeping things on dark mode, a black colorway with the same blue accents was also offered.

The bottom half carries the Ana-Digi Temp’s signature feature: the multifunction LCDs. The upper display can perform a variety of tasks: display a second time zone, set an alarm, show the date today, and even serve as a stopwatch.
The lower display is dedicated to the titular temperature function, which pulls info from the temperature sensor which has been embellished with the honeycomb pattern from the Prelude’s grille.

Citizen’s Ana-Digi Temp is so feature-packed—especially from a watch that has basically gone untouched since the ’80s—that it feels like a dashboard that sits on your wrist. It lets function speak for itself while keeping things aesthetically simple.
This simplicity extends to the packaging. Enthusiasts lucky enough to have secured an example of the Prelude-themed timepiece received a plain red box with the ‘Prelude’ wordmark. Opening it up, you are greeted by an image of the coupe that inspired this collab, before arriving at the watch itself. It’s certainly a collector’s item for Honda fans.

Unfortunately, we say “lucky enough to have secured” because as with a lot of cool motoring merch, this was released exclusively in Japan and quickly sold out. The timepiece was a limited series of 400 units (200 for each colorway) sold on the Honda Fun Shop, an online storefront dedicated to Honda merchandise. It retailed for ¥45,000, or almost P17,000 as of writing.
