Do you miss browsing through malls already? That’s understandable. This ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has forced us all to change our routines in one way or another. And while we can still purchase non-essential items through online shopping, some things are simply better bought in person.
Swiss watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen, perhaps in an effort to make its customers feel a sense of familiarity amid trying times, has brought its shopping experience online through the IWC Virtual Boutique. The 3D experience is a replica of the brand’s boutique at ION Orchard in Singapore. Here, customers can take a virtual walkthrough of the store to check out the elegant timepieces on display. For a more interactive experience, advisors are available for consultation in real-time on weekdays. Private e-appointments are also available for those who want one-on-one advice on an IWC watch.
“With the launch of our new virtual reality retail experience, the IWC Virtual Boutique perfectly embodies the brand’s DNA and offers a tailored online shopping experience. At a time where virtual connections are more frequent and accessible than physical ones, visitors can now enjoy the convenience and availability of an IWC experience, outside the traditional retail infrastructure,” says Stanislas Rambaud, managing director for IWC South East Asia.
