We’ve already seen a lot of Aston Martin DB5 toys and replicas surface over the past couple of years, and the hype continues—especially with the recent release (finally) of No Time To Die. But we’re sure James Bond fans can’t get enough of them, so we’re sharing yet another one here.
This is an authentic scale-model replica from Playmobil, derived specifically from the 1964 film Goldfinger. The details of the car, such as the round headlights and the exterior chrome trim, have been carefully recreated to imitate the eye-catching appeal of the real-life DB5.
It has also been customized with a few special features, including an ejector seat that can be triggered by pressing the exhaust pipes. This makes the seat go through the removable roof. There are triple-rotating license plates on both ends, and extendable ramming horns on the bumper. There are also retractable machine guns on the headlights to boot.
Playmobil’s set has four character figures, namely: Goldfinger, Oddjob, one henchman, and, of course, 007 himself. The product is listed at £69.99 (P4,889) on Aston Martin’s online store. Would you guys add this to your Bond collection?
