Honda’s motorcycle arm has officially announced its partnership with sneaker and fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger, just in time for the Spring 2027 Milan Fashion Week. First up from the Japanese brands’ collaboration is the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept.
This is a concept bike designed with plenty of design references to Onitsuka Tiger’s Mexico 66 sneakers. There’s no mistaking the vibrant Tiger Yellow paint job—Onitsuka Tiger’s signature color—or the trademark intersecting stripes that flow along the bike’s curves.
Honda didn’t specify what model is used as a base for the Mid Sports Concept, but it does look pretty close to a CBR500R with modified fairings. Other visible upgrades include an exhaust from Akrapovic and brakes from Brembo.

Mind you, this isn’t a one-sided collaboration. Onitsuka Tiger’s pieces for the Spring 2027 Milan Fashion Week draw heavy inspiration from motorcycle culture, and Honda is lending some of its street cred. Models wore pieces like motorcycle jackets and riding boots, all branded with the Honda wordmark and wing logo.
Both Onitsuka Tiger and Honda have described each other as sharing “much in common, including their pursuit of advanced technologies and manufacturing excellence and their spirit of taking on challenges.” It does sound like there’s more in store from these two working together, so we’ll stay tuned for what’s next.
