You can be sure that Aprilia isn’t going to get outshone by rivaling brands at the 2024 Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori (EICMA). The Italian brand also took center stage this year to unveil two exciting new models: the Tuono 457 and the Tuareg Rally.
Aprilia Tuono 457 specs and features

Let’s start with the Tuono. This takes after its bigger Tuono 660 ‘naked sport bike’ sibling, but tones down the fairings and has that full-on naked-bike look. The Tuono 457 boasts an aggressive-looking design, highlighted by the familiar headlamps up front. Sharp lines and edges make up its physique. Its advanced aerodynamics coupled with Aprilia’s signature styling, meanwhile, hark back to the legendary Tuono 1000R.
The Tuojno 457 comes with a host of tech and amenities, including a five-inch color TFT display, ride-by-wire technology with different ride modes, and Bosch dual-channel ABS. It borrows its engine from the RS 457, which is a 457cc liquid-cooled, four-valve, parallel-twin that churns out 47.6hp.

Aprilia Tuareg Rally specs and features

The second of the two bikes is the Tuareg Rally, boasting the same Rally race replica finish that Jacopo Cerutti’s Africa Eco Race-winning bike from January 2024. The Tuareg Rally also pays tribute to the Aprilia’s motorsport heritage, with the Tuareg now having conquered and won at various terrains including the Italian Motorally Championships & TT Rai, the Baja Aragon, and the Hellas Rally Raid.
Mechanically, it’s still the same, but it’s been equipped with a custom engine map that promises quicker and more responsive throttle response. It also gets a new SC Project exhaust. Overall weight has also been reduced to 199kg.
What do you think of these two? If you ask me which I’d like to see in the Philippines, I have an easy answer: It’s no doubt the Tuono 457. But hey, if Aprilia does have any plans to build the Tuareg with that same 457 engine, I wouldn’t mind seeing that first.
