In just almost a year after he acquired the ownership of BMW Philippines, RSA Motors of Ramon Ang was able to put up a new BMW Motorrad showroom in Libis, Quezon City, that boasts of world-class amenities.
Officially called RSA Motors Motorrad (one of the BMW dealerships of SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp.), the facility in Libis is the second BMW motorcycle showroom in Metro Manila that opened business in the last two weeks. Last September 28, 2019, the Motor Ace BMW showroom along Daang Hari in Cavite owned by the Borromeo family of Cebu opened its doors to motorcycle enthusiasts from Metro Manila and its neighboring areas.
This latest showroom used to be the display area of the BMW Premium Selection or certified pre-owned vehicles (formerly of Autohaus's dealership) that will be transferred to the adjacent building, now occupied by brand new BMW cars and SUVs. Another showroom will soon open in Greenhills to accommodate new units.
Since its establishment in 2003, the BMW Motorrad section was like a 'bed spacer' in the previous Autohaus facility, occupying only a small corner in the area. But times have changed. Bikes now rule.
RSA's son, Jose Mari 'Jomar'Ang, chief finance officer of SMCACDC and SMCADC president Spencer Yu led the opening the 775-square meter Motorrad showroom located at N0. 184 Eulogio Rodriguez Avenue before a big crowd of BMW motorcycle owners, many of them from the exclusive BMW Owners Society of Safe Riders (BOSS).
RSA Motors Motorrad showroom can accommodate at least 20 motorcycles on static display at a time with ample spaces for Adventure, Sport and Heritage categories. It also houses a big service area with five working bays complete with pneumatic bike lifters.
Furthermore, there are two dedicated customization bays to highlight the
optional range of accessories if customers with to further individualize their BMW R nineT.
To ensure quality maintenance and repair service, the facility is equipped with the latest tools, diagnostic equipment, and highly trained technicians.
And while waiting for his motorbike's service, the owner can sit on cozy sofas in the showroom while being served with premium coffee and clubhouse sandwich—free of charge.
