Way to kick off the final quarter of the year, Motostrada. Alongside the launches of the all-new 500SR Voom and 675SR-R, the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer has also brought into our market its contender in the small-scooter segment: the CFMoto 150SC.
This two-wheeler will rival mainly the Honda PCX 160 and Yamaha NMax 155, the two most popular nameplates within this displacement range and price point. The new 150SC boasts a stylish, sporty physique, with contrasting colors that spruce up the design. It looks the part of a small urban commuter.

It’s built like a proper urban commuter, too. Powering the 150SC is 149cc liquid-cooled, two-valve, SOHC single-cylinder engine that puts out 14.08hp at 8,250rpm and 14.2Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. This engine can supposedly to 40km/L which, frankly, feels a bit conservative. We’ll be sure to try out its fuel economy when we get this for a proper review.
The new CFMoto 150SC also gets amenities like a full-color five-inch TFT display, something you won’t easily find in a scooter from this segment. It also gets both USB-A and USB-C charging ports inside the small front compartment.
The scooter also gets front and rear disc brakes and dual-channel ABS, as well as switchable traction control because why the heck not, right? Seat height is listed at 765mm (30.1 inches), ground clearance at 135mm, and curb weight at 135kg. It also gets an 8.5-liter fuel tank.

As far as colors go, there will be four available: Space Silver (pictured here with the blue-green accent on the fairings), Storm Grey, Gem Black, and Solar Silver. Only one variant is available, and it’s priced at P119,800.
This may be the smallest bike CFMoto will launch in the Philippines this year, but it’s arguably one of the most important. How do you think this will stack up against its established Japanese competitors? You can check out more photos of it below.
