CFMoto has been on a tear lately. Following the global launch of the 450MT in Palawan earlier this year, the Chinese motorcycle marque has brought in another new model in the 500SR Voom. That’s far from the end of it, because this is just one of three new bikes introduced today.
But never mind the other two and let’s focus on this one first. The 500SR Voom was launched in China just a few months back and it might just be one of the most exciting bikes we’ve seen in a while. It’s aesthetically similar to its smaller stablemate, the ST Papio 125. It has two round DRLs and a cowl adorning the front end for that retro like vibe. The large fairings underneath, meanwhile, give it that sporty look. It’s like a mix of a cafe racer and a sportbike. Before we move on, those round openings, however, are not headlights—they’re RAM air systems that enable more power when riding at high speeds.

Powering the 500SR Voom is a 500cc liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine that puts out 81.8hp at a 12,500rpm and 49Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. It revs all the way to a whopping 15,700rpm and supposedly tops out at 220kph.
It comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, traction control with two modes, and a five-inch TFT instrument cluster with a very crisp display. It has a steering damper as standard, as well as an assist/slipper clutch with a quickshifter.

I’m sure there’s also one thing you guys are curious about: the sound. That four-cylinder is quite loud and sounds really good even with the stock exhaust, so you can just imagine how much better it can get with a few modifications and a different pipe.
Now, for the price. The all-new CFMoto 500SR Voom comes in one variant priced at P383,900. How does that sound to you, folks? Tell us in the comments. If you want to learn more about the other launches, check out this link and this other link.
