Those of you who weren’t able to check out the Honda ADV 150 during the launch won’t have to wait long to see the bike in the metal. This much-awaited model is hitting Philippine showrooms as early as tomorrow. In fact, the model is already being delivered to dealerships as we write this.
Don’t get your hopes too high up, though, because despite the model’s early arrival, the manufacturer is firm it will only begin releasing units to buyers in January 2020—that’s about three months since it was officially launched in the Philippines with a P149,000 starting price. For now, units arriving at showrooms are for demo and display purposes only.
Locally, the adventure-style automatic scooter will pack a 149.3cc SOHC four-stroke single-cylinder engine with an output of 14.34hp and 13.8Nm of torque. Color-wise, the scooter will be available in Matte Meteorite Brown and Winning Red.
Filipino buyers were immediately drawn to the vehicle’s versatile underpinnings, and we’re told the waiting list for the ADV 150 is pretty long. If you weren’t able to reserve a unit initially, you may be waiting for a unit for quite a while.
So, were you able to reserve a unit for yourself? How excited are you to take the ADV 150 out for a spin? January is still a couple of days away, so in the meantime, check out these images of the scooter arriving at a dealership.
