Earlier this year, we got a proper look at MV Agusta’s highly exclusive bike, the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro. Now, at the Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori (EICMA), the Italian brand has launched another limited-edition model.
Feast your eyes on the all-new MV Agusta Brutale Serie Oro. Like its race-ready stablemate, this naked bike is limited to just 300 units worldwide. Talk about exclusivity. But it’s only fitting, considering how beautiful this bike is.

If the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro doesn’t quite fit your style, then this might. The Brutale Serie Oro has that proper streetfighter look with a touch of that signature MV Agusta luxury. The seat is upholstered in red Alcantara, matching nicely with the sharp-looking fairings and the bronze, silver, and black accents underpinning the bike. Carbon-fiber bits, which work both for aesthetics and weight reduction, are also found around the bike.

Now, this may be a pretty machine, but we reckon it’s one you’d really want to ride. Powering this is a different powertrain from what the newly updated Brutale 800 gets. This limited-edition Agusta gets a 950cc three-cylinder unit capable of pushing out 148hp 11,200rpm and 107N at 8,400rpm. MV Agusta also claims 85% of max torque is available as early as 3,500rpm, so there’s plenty of power even at lower revs. A slipper/torque-assisted clutch and ride-by-wire come as standard.

MV Agusta has also made the ride more ergonomic with a redesigned handlebar and repositioned footrests for a more “natural, commanding riding posture.” The tank surface, meanwhile, enhances grip and control “during dynamic riding.” Or in other words, when you’re having fun with your bike.
The bike’s trellis steel frame also has a longer swingarm, more torsional rigidity, reduced weight, and a longer wheelbase for enhanced precision and control. Even the seat has been made wider and longer, both to improve comfort and allow more movement “during sporty riding.” See, this bike isn’t just for show—the engineers really want would-be owners to enjoy this beast. Rightfully so, and besides, you wouldn’t want to have Brembo brakes and an adjustable Ohlins suspension on your bike only to have it sitting in a garage, would you?

The Brutale Serie Oro also comes with a five-inch TFT display, different ride modes with customizable functions, and a quickshifter. Cornering ABS also comes as standard, as well as the new progressive bending headlight system with matrix cornering lights. Basically, you can carve twisties at night, and the lights will bank with you.
If the Brutale Serie Oro ever makes its way to the Philippines, we suppose there’ll only be one unit available at most, and it’ll probably fetch around P4 million as well. Frankly, though, we’ll be happy to just see it in the metal, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed that even just one unit arrives here.
