Royal Enfield may not have been the motorcycle brand you’d expect to go electric next, but here we are. The Indian motorcycle manufacturer just unveiled at the Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori (EICMA) its newest electric brand, Flying Flea.
The name is a harkback to one of the motorcycle manufacturer’s older models. The nameplate now makes its comeback as a separate brand, and it’s now previewed its first electric two-wheeler in the FF-C6.

The bike looks incredibly futuristic, that’s for sure. It’s got hints of Royal Enfield’s signature retro design with the round cluster and round headlights, and the almost teardrop-shaped ‘tank’ up front. But it looks electric, too, with very few cables and bits and pieces underneath the bike.
Not a lot of details have been revealed yet, but we do know that it’ll be very lightweight and can be operated using a smartphone. We also get a glimpse of the S6, the scrambler variant of the FF-C6.
