If you’re not familiar with these battery-swappable motorcycles yet, we suggest you read our story from our recent trip to VinFast’s home base in Vietnam. These scooters can be used with VinFast’s swappable-battery system, or they can also be plugged in to charge like a regular battery-powered scooter.

Customers who opt for the subscription will get two batteries with their scooters and will have to pay a monthly fee of P439 per battery, with each swap costing P35. Non-subscribers will have no access to the swappable-battery network and will have to charge their units themselves.

ERRATUM: The article originally implied that non-subscribers will still have access to the swappable-battery network by paying a necessary fee, when in reality, the system will be exclusive to subscribers. The preceding paragraph has been edited accordingly to clarify this.

Through the brand’s Early Booking Program from June 10 to July 18, 2026, interested customers can already place reservations with a non-refundable fee of P3,000. Those who place bookings throughout this period will receive incentives worth P5,600, although VinFast has yet to specify what exactly these incentives will be.

“The Philippines is one of the key markets in VinFast’s international electric two-wheeler expansion strategy,” said VinFast E-motorcycles Overseas Market managing director Vo Thi Cam Tu. “The introduction of three battery-swapping e-motorcycle models further expands our product ecosystem in the country while offering more green mobility options tailored to the diverse needs of local consumers. We will continue investing comprehensively in products, infrastructure, and services to make the transition to electric mobility the most natural choice for all Filipinos.”

VinFast says the first deliveries will begin in July.
