You’ve waited, and now you’re finally getting it: The all-new Yamaha NMax Tech Max has already arrived in the Philippines. Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) over the weekend already started accepting reservations, and while we don’t know how local units will be spec’d we already know how much it’ll be.

How? Well, YMPH opened advanced-access reservations via a livestreamed event. In the registration form, it explicitly states that the NMax Tech Max is priced at P175,900, and those who wish to avail of the early-access units will need to pay an additional P3,000 registration fee

By the way, only 155 initial slots will be opened; chances are, they’ve all been spoken for as of this writing. Note that actual units might not look like the scooters in this article—these photos were grabbed from Yamaha Motor Indonesia.

As mentioned, we don’t know yet what the local specs of the NMax Tech Max will be. What we do know from the global launch last year is that this is what’s being called the NMax ‘Turbo.’ It doesn’t come with a turbocharger per se, but it comes equipped with the new Yamaha Electric CVT (YECVT) which supposedly gives off a turbo-like sensation when riding. This gearbox is what’s mated to the 15.15hp, 14.2Nm 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder Blue Core engine.

The all-new NMax Tech Max should also have ABS, multiple ride modes, traction control, and Y-Connect features available. If we’re lucky, local untis could also get the Garmin-powered navigation system that enables a map display on the instrument cluster.

YMPH will be handing over the first 155 units to their owners on Saturday, March 15, 2025. More details should be revealed then, so keep your eyes peeled. We’ll keep all of you posted.
