The car show that prides itself as one organized "by car enthusiasts for car enthusiasts" will again gather more than 80 automobiles in one venue for the annual Trans Sport Show.
The 19th Trans Sport Show will occupy the Megatrade Halls of SM Megamall from April 21 to 25.
Trade Show International president Sophie de los Santos, organizer of the Trans Sport Show, said this year's event is made more exciting by the addition of the Best of Show - Nostalgic Award. Judges will be choosing two Best of Show awardees--contemporary and nostalgic.
"Some people are saying it's always the oldest cars that win. This will level the playing field for car enthusiasts," de los Santos said.
The Best of Show - Nostalgic Award will also pave the way for the first Philippine Nostalgic Motor Show, which will be launched in 2011.
Aside from conferring the Best of Show award, the 19th Trans Sport Show will also recognize regular participants who have been sharing their vehicle to other enthusiasts for almost 20 years now.
"They have always been there, these competitors. Every year they enter the competition with more radical cars and wonderful accessories. It just seems right to finally recognize their efforts, the very effort that has kept the Trans Sport Show alive for two decades," de los Santos said.
