Remember Dhiaa Al-Essa, the 21-year old who has a supercar collection worth £4.5 million or more than P311 million? Many will undoubtedly envy him even more as he reportedly just took delivery of two special Ferraris.
Al-Essa received not only the very first Ferrari 599 GTO (see photo above), he also took in a Ferrari F430 Scuderia Spider 16M that’s numbered 499 out of 499 to roll off of the Italian carmaker’s production line, SWNS.com said. The total price of both cars: £600,000 (nearly P42 million).
“I’ve been so excited about the Ferrari 599 GTO--I have had to wait six months for it to arrive,” said Al-Essa in the report. “My favourite car used to be the Mercedes McLaren SLR but now it’s the 599. It’s the best ever, simply amazing--I love it.”
Al-Essa’s latest acquisition brings his supercar collection to 33, and that figure still doesn’t include the Koenigsegg Agera and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport--a birthday gift from his father.
Al-Essa is also waiting for his new Ferrari 458 to arrive in December, which replaces the unit destroyed in a fire that burned down the warehouse where it was stored last August. He is also waiting for his Ferrari SA Aperta, one of 70 Ferrari 599-based roadsters to be produced, to arrive in May 2011.
