Remember the Neiman Marcus Edition McLaren 12C Spider that the US luxury department store was offering in its 2012 Christmas catalog, which we reported here earlier this month? Well, according to WallStreetJournal.com, all 12 units were sold out less than two hours after its sale officially started on October 24.
So, apparently, despite its princely price tag of $354,000 (roughly P14.63 million), Neiman Marcus had no problem courting its customers to buy the car. Finished in Volcano Red, the Neiman Marcus Edition McLaren 12C Spider has lightweight diamond-cut wheels with Gloss Black inners, Gloss Black graphics, contrast red stitching, a stainless-steel special-edition numbered badge, and a McLaren luggage set.
As an added bonus, the 12 lucky buyers will also fly to the United Kingdom, get to spend a two-night accommodation at a five-star hotel, have dinner with McLaren chairman Ron Dennis, and a tour of the McLaren Technology Center early next year.
