With Berjaya Auto Philippines officially taking over the Mazda brand on January 1, 2013, from Ford Philippines, the Fil-Malaysian company is busy preparing for its activities next year.
Besides launching its takeover of the Japanese carmaker's sales and after-sales service in the country next year, Berjaya Auto Philippines, according to the company's brand and communications manager, Kristoff Arcega, will also introduce the all-new Mazda 6. What Arcega can't confirm, however, is whether Berjaya will only sell the 6 sedan or it will also bring in the 6 wagon.
"We're still figuring out what the local market wants," Arcega told TopGear.com.ph. "We'll definitely sell the Mazda 6 sedan, but for the wagon, we can't say yet. If the market demands it and if Mazda Japan agrees, that'll be the time we'll sell the 6 wagon locally."
