If you've seen the latest Top Gear episode, you know that Jeremy Clarkson thinks the BMW 1-Series M Coupe is a "brilliant, brilliant car." For a man as opinionated and critical as Clarkson to give his blessing to what is essentially a 1-Series coupe on steroids, only means the car is just that good.

Anyway, to promote the arrival of the 1-Series M Coupe in its showrooms, BMW Canada posted online a video of the car powersliding its rear end around the perimeter of the helipad of the US Bank Tower in Los Angeles, California. The fact that it has the world's highest rooftop heliport makes the stunt even more breathtaking.

We're just wondering: Why did the driver even bother with a helmet?

Check it out and let us know if you think it's real or just plain CGI.
