With the E90 3-Series nearing the end of its shelf life, BMW has decided to give its two-door convertible and coupe versions a slight makeover.

Up front, both coupe and retractable hardtop models get a new headlight cluster along with wider twin-kidney grilles. At the back, the new BMW 3-Series get the light-pipe styling found in recently launched BMW models like the 7-Series and the X6-Series--though its taillights' shape remains the same. BMW will also be offering for the first time its xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system with the coupe "on no less than three petrol and two diesel models."
