If you watch this space regularly, then you probably remember our previous article on the Nissan Navara Black Edition that arrived earlier this month. While Nissan Philippines has already made it available on the market since the announcement, tonight marks the redesigned pickup’s official local introduction.
Let’s take a more in-depth look, shall we?
On the outside, black decals can be found all around this Navara. Along with it are gloss-black trim on the grille, the foglamp housings, the side mirrors, the roof railings, and the front and rear bumpers. Smoked LED headlamps continue the dark theme. Of course, the 18-inch alloy wheels sport a black finish, too.
These details complement any of the four available exterior colors, namely: Lunar Metallic Gray, Fiery Red, Galaxy Black, and Aspen Pearl White. The last option comes at an additional P15,000 on top of the SRP.
In the cabin, orange stitchings provide a nice contrast against the leather and sport-fabric seats. The interior panels and sidings also feature orange stitching.
If you’re looking for more changes to this Navara, you won’t find any of it under the hood. The pickup still packs the same engine—a 2.5-liter turbodiesel that maxes out at 161hp and 403Nm—as all other existing variants.
Our previous story already featured the full price list of this version of the Navara. In case you missed it, here it is again:
