Aftermarket tuner Mansory has worked on a Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG, improving the vehicle's aerodynamics and engine output to make it as quick as the Pagani Huayra.
Up front, Mansory added a spoiler and LED daytime running lights, and changed the hood. At the back, a rear lip has been added while the rear apron was designed to resemble a diffuser. Completing the aesthetic modifications done by Mansory are the side skirts, wider front wings, and the side mirror’s carbon-fiber housing.
Of course, Mansory massaged the AMG S63's V8 twin-turbo engine. Better yet, it allows the customer to choose from one of two upgrades.
With the Mansory M800 performance kit, the engine’s output is increased to 800hp and 1,200 Nm, giving it a 0-to-100kph time of 3.6 seconds. But with the M1000 kit, engine muscle is raised to 1,000hp and 1,400Nm, good for a 0-to-100kph sprint time of 3.2 seconds, reportedly as fast as the Huayra. The car's top speed with either performance upgrades, however, is limited to 300kph.
So, if you’d like a high-performance luxury sedan that can match the Pagani Huayra to 100kph, you need not look further than Mansory’s Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG.
