Two of this year’s most hotly anticipated German cars are finally here, and they look as beautiful as advertised.
BMW Philippines has launched the all-new Z4 and 3-Series. This marks the return of one of the car manufacturer’s most iconic vehicles in the Z4 roadster, and the arrival of the hot-selling compact sedan’s latest iteration.
First, the all-new 3-Series. The vehicle is available in just one variant, the 330i M Sport. This carries a P4,590,000 price tag and packs a two-liter four-cylinder BMW TwinPower turbo gasoline engine capable of 258hp between 5,000 and 6,500rpm and 400Nm of torque between 1,550 and 4,400rpm. This is good for a top speed of 250kph. As we reported last month, the 320d is not available in the market.
The all-new Z4, meanwhile, comes available in two variants: The sDrive20i and M40i. The former packs a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine capable of 197hp at 4,500 to 6,500rpm and 320Nm of torque between 1,450 and 4,200rpm, while the latter is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder TwinPower turbo with an output of 340hp (5,000-6,000rpm) and 500Nm (1,600-4,500rpm). Top speed is set at 240kph and 250kph, respectively.

We’ve seen both vehicles in the metal and we have to say both look absolutely gorgeous. The Z4, in particular, looks stunning with its edgy new look, strong character lines, and modern design elements. What a comeback for the legendary German roadster.
We’ll have more photos of both cars up soon. How happy are you to see the all-new 3-Series and the return of the legendary Z4?
