BMW Philippines has added a more affordable variant to its X3 lineup. The new plug-in hybrid X3 30e xDrive xLine has officially landed in our local market, to the tune of P4.498 million.
At the time of writing, the price is offered as an introductory promotion. According to BMW’s website, the X3 xLine will be regularly priced at P4.698 million, or exactly P200,000 more. However, the new variant is presently P400,000 less than the X3 M Sport, which is the only other available model.

While it costs significantly less, the X3 xLine utilizes the same powertrain and eDrive system as the fully loaded M Sport trim. That means 299hp and 450Nm of torque are still on tap, while the plug-in hybrid system can drive up to 90km on just electric power.
It’s properly quick as well, with a 0-100kph sprint time of 6.2sec. Buyers will also notice that it flaunts a glowing kidney grille and 19-inch bicolor wheels.
Inside, BMW has equipped the new X3 with a 14.9-inch main display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. Both feature BMW Operating System 9, while the entire cabin holds a Harman Kardon surround-sound system. Drivers are also treated to a head-up display and more digital integration. There is also a wealth of advanced driver assists, with active cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, and parking assistance features on board.
