Who would have thought that the Cadillac Escalade--that luxury SUV that\'s high on the list of rappers and NBA players--could live long enough to reach its fourth generation? Back in 1998, when the very first Escalade appeared, practically everyone dismissed it as just Cadillac\'s way of cashing in on the sport-ute craze. But here we are now, 15 years later, living in a world in which the Escalade soldiers on like it\'s the most natural and most logical of vehicle models.
And come October 7, the American luxury carmaker is officially revealing the all-new Escalade in New York City, in an event that will also feature the photography of Autumn de Wilde, who \"captured the 2015 Escalade from an artistic perspective,\" says General Motors\' press statement. \"The images she created highlight the sophistication, luxury and iconic nature of the Escalade in an expression different from that of traditional automotive photography.\"
To keep our imagination running, GM has also released two teaser images showing the new Escalade\'s badge and headlight. We can\'t see much but something tells us the new SUV model will be futuristic-looking.
