Novitec has given the Ferrari 296 GTB more power, downforce, and ‘aero trickery’

It’ll cost just over P17.5 million in the UK, though

Remember the truly bonkers Novitec N-Largo S—essentially a Ferrari 812 Superfast that’s faster, louder, and wider? Well, Novitec will now go and do the same thing with 15 units of the 296 GTB, and the renders are spectacular…ly divisive.

For starters, you’ll find new turbo inlets and metal catalysts beneath the revised engine cover, while a fruiter exhaust system has been wedged in too. All this lot combines to jump the 3.0-liter hybrid V6 from 819 to 880hp, and while that may not seem like a huge increase, it’ll still be aided by even more downforce and aero trickery.

The redesigned bumpers, skirts and splitters have been chalked up by Vittorio Strosek, who’s been souping up Porsches since back when the Ottoman Empire was a thing. Custom twin five-spoke alloys (21/22 inches) also sit beneath those thicker wheel arches, while the stance has been lowered by 35mm courtesy of trick aftermarket suspension.

Spot the extra air vents dotted around? The most obvious ones are atop the front arches, which both help to keep the brakes cool and conjoin with the revised carbon bits on the bonnet. There’s also a new rear wing out back (which you can swap for a ducktail), while the single rectangular tunnel exhaust has been binned in favor of two circular exits made from stainless steel or Inconel.

As with most Novitec products, customers can pretty much spec their interiors as they wish—so giraffe-themed seats and door cards made of pennies from Trafalgar Square should all be doable… at a price. Speaking of which, Novitec hasn’t given any ballpark figures yet, but do consider the standard 296 you’ll need for the conversion starts at just over P17.5 million (about £240,000).

This could get pricey…
