The GS3 Emzoom, which was recently awarded a five-star rating by the ASEAN NCAP, now has a new variant in the Philippines: the GAC GS3 Emzoom Touring.
The Touring spec replaces the GB as the midlevel variant in the lineup, and is said to be an ‘upgraded edition’ of the GB while still retaining its predecessor’s P1,098,000 asking price. The upgrades come in the form of a new R-Style bodykit, centrally mounted dual exhaust tips, and a cabin done up in black and blue. Exterior color options are Graphene Gray, Moonlight Gray, Ivory White, and Superstar Silver.
The 10.25-inch touchscreen serves as the multimedia interface, and allows for smartphone mirroring via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For driving aids, the car gets cruise control, a rearview camera, keyless entry, hill-start hold control, auto hold via the electronic parking brake, and a tire-pressure monitoring system.

Like the rest of the GS3 Emzoom lineup, the Touring variant is powered by a 1.5-liter turbopetrol engine that puts out 174hp and 270Nm of torque via a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. It’s also covered by an after-sales warranty for the first five years or 150,000km, whichever comes first.
Locally, the GS3 Emzoom has breached 1,500 units in sales as of June this year, after making its Philippine debut in June 2023. It also garnered the top spot in the China Automobility Quality Ranking for the first half of 2024.
