By the looks of it, GWM’s most exported product is the Haval Jolion. It was launched in China in late 2020 but, strangely, discontinued in 2021. That said, it remains for sale in other parts of the world, the Philippines included.
The GWM Haval Jolion is the company’s entry-level model, competing in the hotly-contested subcompact crossover class. In a bid to attract more buyers, the Chinese automaker has given it a bit of a facelift for the 2024 model year.

That said, don’t expect dramatic changes here. As far as we can tell, GWM didn’t stir the pot so much with this minor model change. The styling tweaks here aim to take a few years off the small crossover.
At the front, there’s a new grille that replaces the mesh look with vertical slats. The trim piece below the headlights also get a bit of a tweak, employing horizontal slats instead of honeycomb.

The sides of the crossover carries over unchanged. However, we did notice a new wheel design so it’s possible that there are other new ones to choose from. As for the rear, the Haval script on the tailgate has been replaced with GWM. However, that change seems to depend on the market it will be sold to with some opting to drop the Haval name altogether.
At the moment, there are no interior photos of the new Haval Jolion. However, there are no changes expected to be made in there. But should there be some updates, it’s possible that it’s mostly relegated to the displays on the screens.
Engines are carried over from the current GWM Haval Jolion. That means there’s a choice of a 1.5-liter turbo petrol with 141hp and 220Nm of torque or a 1.5-liter hybrid that has a combined output of 186hp and 375Nm of torque. Both models are front-wheel drive only.
