Recently, Hyundai India showed a new variant of the Creta. Dubbed the N-Line, it’s the sportiest model available for the subcompact crossover. At the time, the company didn’t give much details other than a few photos and a few things about the exterior

This time around, there’s more information about the Hyundai Creta N-Line. That’s because it has made its official debut, meaning we can now get the full picture.

But first, a quick recap. The N-Line version of the Hyundai Creta represents the sportier side of the South Korean automaker. With that, it gets more aggressive exterior bits, namely a front bumper with a deeper apron, an N-Line grille, and a host of red highlights throughout the body. Also included are a set of special set of 18-inch alloy wheels, dual exhaust pipes, a faux skid plate, and red brake calipers.

The N-Line also gains a special interior treatment. For a sportier vibe, the cabin is trimmed in all black from the seats to the headliner. Red highlights are also strewn throughout the cabin, along with an N-Line seats with thicker bolsters and a unique steering wheel. Of course, there are N-Line badges present in there, too.

As it serves as the top-spec model, this Creta comes equipped with an HD infotainment and 10.25 digital cluster with a multi-language UI display. Other interior highlights include dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and front ventilated seats, and an eight-way powered driver seat.

Also present is the Hyundai Smartsense Level 2 ADAS alerts and displays. That means it comes equipped with blind spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control, just to name a few.

We finally have word on its powertrain options, and we’re still wishing that it gets offered here. It’s now been confirmed that it’ll use the 1.5-liter turbo gas engine that makes 158hp and 253Nm of torque. More interestingly, there are two transmission options available. The seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is a given, but we’re just as amused at the availability of a six-speed manual as well.

But as much as we like what it has to offer, we’ve come to terms with the fact that it’ll never come to the Philippines. But unless the ASEAN-spec Creta gets N-Line goodies, the best spec we’ll ever get is the GLS.
