Early last year, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) quietly launched the facelifted MU-X in our market. That model featured minor aesthetic tweaks and sat on snazzy new wheels. For 2024, Isuzu has given the midsize SUV even more updates, this time in the tech department.
IPC has just announced that the 2024 Isuzu MU-X now comes with a digital video recorder (DVR), capable of recording up to 11 hours of footage with a 64GB microSD card. It also allows for dual- or single-view replay and has proximity recording across all four cameras for added safety.

Speaking of safety, the updated MU-X now also comes with an around-view monitor (AVM), or what’s more commonly known as a 360-degree-view camera. For those who find parking a chore, this should come in handy.
Lastly, Isuzu has added wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity to the 10.1-inch infotainment system. This, along with the wireless charger on the center console, will eliminate the need for cables. No more messy cabins, in other words.

Mechanically, the MU-X sees no changes. It’s still available with either a 187hp, 450Nm 3.0-liter turbodiesel or the smaller, more fuel-efficient 1.9-liter RZ4E powerplant. As far as prices go, there aren’t any changes either, as the range still starts at P1.675 million and tops out at P2.53 million. You can check out the price list below.
