The Jeep Wagoneer has returned, and this time, it’s… stupendously fast. The new Wagoneer S will go from 0-62mph in 3.5s which—in a world not too distant in the past—was the sole preserve of high-end, two-seater exotica.
Clearly this is not a two-seater exotica, but it is high-end. Jeep’s “premium” offering is of course a brand new electric SUV, and the first details explain how it’ll come with four-wheel-drive—or 4xe in Jeep’s nomenclature—and “all-terrain management”. Curbs should be… manageable.

Elsewhere, there’s a 600hp electric drivetrain of unspecified vintage, able to achieve that lightning 0-100kph time, and helped along by close attention to aerodynamics.
Though, while the sole image released thus far teases the BEV’s new face, it rather appears the Wagoneer S will bludgeon its way through the air rather than dance. Looks mean.
We’re told the Wagoneer S will be sold in the US from Spring 2024, and then “in key markets around the world from 2025”. More as we get it…
