Ssangyong, sorry, KG Mobility (KGM) might be rolling out a new model soon. KGM recently premiered an audio visual presentation (AVP) that aimed to show the direction the South Korean automaker is set to make.

During that AVP, it also presented a sleek-looking coupe crossover halfway through the show. By the looks of it, it could be a sportier version of the KGM Torres.

It still looks like a concept car at the stage, and the said model doesn’t even have a name yet. However, we see a few elements of the Torres on the front end with its headlight arrangement. It’s unknown if the vehicle is electric, but we did notice a lack of a large front grille. An internal combustion engine is, indeed, a strong possibility, but we wouldn’t be surprised if there was some form of electrification.

The front fenders appear similar to the KGM Torres, but the rest of the bodywork seem bespoke to this yet-to-be-named crossover. The most obvious is the roof line that tapers down and cuts in more aggressively than the standard model. The front doors look straight out of the Torres, but the rear and third window are far more rakish.

But aside from a crossover, there is another model shown in the AVP. KGM might also be revealing a pickup down the line to join the Musso. Like the coupe crossover, it doesn’t have a name yet but appears to be derived from the Torres.

KGM might not have the same sales figures as Hyundai and Kia, but it will be interesting to see how the brand moves forward under a new name and management.
