If you’re financially blessed and in the market for a supercar, then you’re in luck. That’s because the Lamborghini Revuelto has landed in the Philippines. It’s also the first plug-in supercar from the brand, spearheading its electrification strategy.
Because of that, the Revuelto comes with a benefit that we doubt most owners will take advantage of. Because it’s an electrified model, it’s also coding exempt.

But don’t take our word for it. That’s according to the list of approved electrified vehicles from the Department of Energy (DOE). Imagine our surprise when we saw it among other green cars.
Then again, that shouldn’t be much of a surprise. After all, the coding exemption applies to vehicles that can move themselves under battery power. The Revuelto can do that, hence it’s why it’s in the list. Still, that doesn’t dampen our amusement with it.

So, what does this eco-friendly supercar pack? There’s a 6.5-liter V12 that’s then mated to three electric motors. It then shifts with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 3.8kWh battery gives it an electric-only range of up to 13km. It’s not much, but it’s better than nothing, right?
As for power, the V12 and the trio of electric motors give it a combined output of 1,001hp and 807Nm of torque. That’s good enough to propel it to 100kph in just 2.4 seconds, blow past 200kph in just 7 seconds, and reach a top speed of 350kph.

But what about fuel economy? Per official figures, the Revuelto can get up to 8.43km/L. Not spectacular figures, but amazing for something with over 1,001hp.
See, we told you it’s eco-friendly.
