Aerodynamics has been one of the hallmarks of Lotus since its early days of racing in Formula 1, so it’s no surprise that active aero figures prominently in the Emeya’s design and engineering. Features like the active front grille, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler contribute to a drag coefficient of 0.21 or downforce of up to 150kg, depending on whether you need more straight-line speed or more traction and stability through corners. On-board sensors gather real-time driving data, allowing the electronically controlled air suspension to adjust according to actual conditions.

There are five driving modes available. Range, Tour, and Sport will have you covered if you want to maximize distance, cruise in comfort, or unlock more performance. You’ll need Individual to further customize various parameters like ride height and stiffness, acceleration response, and even seat bolstering. Finally, Track is for days you take your car to the circuit.

Through fast-charging, the Emeya’s battery can be topped up from 10% to 80% in just 14 minutes. Claimed range is up to 610km on a single charge.

This being a grand tourer, the Emeya is expected to deliver comfort and functionality for long drives. The 509 liters of rear cargo capacity is supplemented by an additional 31 liters of frunk space. Seats are equipped with a five-mode massage function and are finished in a new material called Wyron Truecycle, which is made from repurposed fibers from the fashion industry. For convenience and safety, the doors come with sensors that watch out for obstacles outside, preventing you from opening a door when there’s a risk of damage.

Meanwhile, the 55-inch head-up display allows the driver to see driving and vehicle information with minimal distractions and eye movement.

Customers who reserve an Emeya on or before October 31 will get complimentary XPPF Paint Protection Film, V-Kool tint, and a 7kW home charger.
