Maserati Philippines has officially introduced the all-electric Folgore lineup to the local market. Italian for ‘lightning,’ the Folgore era has kicked off with the electrified versions of the Grecale SUV and the GranCabrio convertible.
The GranTurismo Folgore will also be making its way to the Philippines later this year, in a special edition look that celebrates the 110th anniversary of the brand. We can expect it sometime in September, along with a nationwide roadshow that will include test-driving activities and other engagements.

While we wait for the electric GranTurismo to debut in the country, the first two models are currently available for those interested in adding an Italian luxury EV to their garage.
Starting with the SUV, the Grecale Folgore makes almost performance-level numbers with a top speed of 220kph, and a 0-100kph sprint of just 4.1sec. That is thanks to a 103kWh powerplant that outputs 563hp and 820Nm of torque. Maserati then advertises the Grecale Folgore with a 500km driving range.

On the other side of the floor, the GranCabrio Folgore convertible touts itself as the very first electric luxury convertible. While we might have to review our automotive history books on that one, it sure has the numbers to back it up. It makes a beefy 761hp and an eyebrow-raising 1,350Nm of torque, on a tri-motor drive system that tops out at 290kph. With all systems clicking, this GranCabrio hits 100kph in just 2.8sec.
